one of my parents is applying for a parent plus loan. however, when i filled out my fafsa, i didn't consider that parent because my other parent is my custodial parent so we only used that information. do we need to fill out another fafsa or can we just go on the website and sign the MPN for the plus loan without a separate fafsa?

bump… do i need to fill out another fafsa for my non-custodial parent?

No.

:)

Your NCP can apply for Parent Plus.

ahh, always to the rescue mom2collegekids! thanks!!!

Important … the PLUS MPN will need to be signed with a parent PIN. Do not use the custodial parent’s PIN! Have the NCP whose name is on the PLUS application get a PIN at [The PIN Web Site - Federal Student Aid](http://www.pin.ed.gov).

^ great advice! thanks kelsmom!!
