PLUS loans and Refunds

<p>Hey Guys,</p>

<p>My parents and I accepted a Plus loan and completed the online MPN a few weeks ago. My award summary shows that the amount we wanted has been accepted. However, we are still waiting on the last two forms needed to complete the loan process, and have this money placed into my CARS account.</p>

<p>How long after you/your parents accepted the PLUS loan on BearFacts and completed the online MPN did you receive the other two paper forms in the mail? </p>

<p>Also, I was billed for the first month of on-campus housing, as well as the registration fees for the fall semester. This amount was paid by a grant and most of my student loan. I should have about $700.00 left over after paying this month's CARS fee. But when I check 'refund summary' it says "there are no refunds available for this student". Anyone else experiencing this? I signed up for the automatic refund to my bank account, and was just wondering if the refunds took time to be sorted out.</p>

<p>Yeah, I have a similar problem.
Somehow they only reward part of the scholarship to me when there's still about 30 bux in my balance. </p>

<p>I haven't used up my scholarship$ for this semester and now I have to pay and no refund.....? where does the rest go?</p>

<p>Yeah..my balance is currently $0.00, but I should have about $700.00 left over to be refunded, so I don't know what the deal is. I just e-mailed a financial aid advisor to see if she could assist me. </p>

<p>Since I am receiving loans, and a little aid, I figured that they would bill me for the entire semester's worth of housing, but guess not.</p>
