Alright im planning to sign up for September's ACT, just to see how I do. I dont want anyone to receive my scores (not any colleges and especially not my high school) before I see them first, im hoping the equivalent might be higher than my SAT score. Is this possible? If so, How would I do this? Also if Im not happy with my score and dont report it to anyone, will anyone be able to find out that I ever took that test?

You can keep your scores private simply by not filling in any colleges to receive the scores and not entering your high school code. If you want to send your scores later, just send them as you would any other scores. Just because no colleges or high schools have the scores doesn't mean they aren't at ACT headquarters.

I don't know much about the ACT, but I looked around the ACT site and found that when you go to register, you get this message, "A report will be mailed to the high school for which you provide a valid code. If you do not provide a valid code, no counselor's copy of your score report will be produced." So it looks like you're not required to provide a school code, so if you don't ask them to send the score to anyone, then no one but you will get the score. If you are happy with the score, then you'll have to pay to send the score to colleges.
