plz answer my question!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i've already asked ppl on this board about finaid for international students. anyway, i found out that only a few schools are need-blind (and r really selective anyway). The ones that aren't need blind are also really hard to get in. so... here comes my new question.

r there any lower ranked schools (that provide a good education) that offer merit aid to international students?? oh, and im looking for schools where someone with good academics and ECs has a decent change of getting in.

Most schools offer no more than 1/2 tuition for internationals. If the full tuition is let's say 36,000 a year including room and board, the most you can "earn" in either financial aid or merit packages is around $15,000. Some schools have a few scholarships a year for internationals that are for 1/2 tuition. I have been looking for schools for international students at my school who have financial need.I recommend midwest schools. They are cheaper overall and some are interested in increasing their diversity by attracting internationals. I don't recommend schools on either coast to my students unless they are top, top, top. They are more expensive. I am not mentioning any particular schools. There are too many to list. Research.
