San Diego State is my #1 school and I’m really not sure how good of a chance i have at getting in. I have a 3.72 cal state GPA and a 28 composite ACT and a 29 superscore. I live in the Los Angeles area and am mexican. Plz let me know my chances.
Race/ethnicity is not considered only your CSU GPA/HS course rigor/test scores.
They admit by Eligibility index and major.
EI= (CSU GPA x 200) + (ACT comp x 10)
Your EI is 1034. An EI of 1000+ is competitive but no guarantees.
Sorry I’m replying to your question over a month after you posted it! I got into UCSD (and am going there) with an SAT score of 1260 on the new scale, a 4.07 GPA. This year (class of 2021) their average admitted student SAT score was a 1990 on the old scale SAT, and their average GPA was 4.15… I fell way below that, however, I was in Acadec and had crazy life circumstances and I think that’s what got me in… So it’s not all about numbers. Don’t get me wrong, the numbers are important, but they consider everything.
