ps. i am a canadian citizen, moved to michigan during sophmore year, i email the admission's office and they said they treat canadian citizens as domestic students (thank god).

AND I'M APPLYING FOR EARLY DECISION CAUSE I REALLY WANT TO GET INTO WELLESLEY~!

thank you.

looks like a really, really good chance

Wow. I feel so inadequate.

Can't see a reason why they wouldn't accept you. Good luck!

LOL
i felt inadequate when i was looking at other people's chances.
thank you both for your encouragements.
it's just that i'm stuck on the essay part...T.T

On the Common App essay or on the Why Wellesley essay? Do you want someone else to look over it/them?

I hesitate to say this (since I don't want to give you a false sense of security), but on paper your stats and your ECs look awesome enough that you'd have to really screw up the essay to jeopardize your chances...I think the wisdom on the street is that if your application is already strong, a "just okay" essay isn't the end of the world--if that makes you feel more comfortable about writing the essay. Of course, you should take everything I say with a grain of salt, since I'm a prospective student, too, and have no prior admissions experience. :-)

Oh lord-now I'm terrified! You look like an awesome girl! I have my own things I'm proud of, but it is girls like you that I can not wait to meet and get to know! Good luck-I'm applying ED too!!!
PS-It all looks good to me! :p

OMG thank you guys soooo much.
you have no idea how happy i am right now.

i just felt like ***** yesterday reading over the chances at the Stanford and Cornell boards....lol...

but i just got an answer from the admissions office that i'm considered as international student...ugh..

Wait-how are you considered international? Are you a US citizen or Canadian?

i'm canadian currently living and attending high school in US with visa
cause my dad works here
and i think we're trying to get a green card...

i'm VERY CONFUSED about my status...

Well....hmm-you could just apply under an international....would that make you more interesting at all? I don't know. Lol-not that you need to be any more interesting! Hehe.

well,
i thought being an international would lower my chances
cause i heard from somewhere, not sure though, that there's only this certain percentage of students that unversities accept of international students.

that would be a good question at an inerview!

hmmm..i guess so
when's your interview?

July 25!!! Eeek! I have my NYC interviews next week and then Boston the next week! Have you heard about your interview yet?

my...that's pretty soon
good luck~!

i just handed in my request yesterday, but i live in a small town, so i don't know if there's going to be an alumni living close to me...

Yeah I live in a small town too, so I'm just going to them! I hope you get one!! I'm so nervous!

you'll do fine~
i heard its pretty casual.

good luck...i think you have a really good chance
