If could please tell me my chances for these schools, that would be great. Also, I plan to major in engineering or pre-med, but could change in the future. Thanks once again for all the help.

Right now, you look to have a very eclectic mix of schools on your list. The two that stand out in particular to me as "unusual" choices are Amherst and Haverford. Although they are both fantastic schools, I'm curious as to why you're interested in applying to them since you're planning on majoring in engineering. If you want to apply to a LAC but also desire the ability to major in engineering, I recommend you look at Swarthmore College, which unlike Amherst and Haverford, offers a major in engineering.

Chances on a scale of: high reach, reach, semi-reach, good fit, likely, safety.

Indiana University... SAFETY.
Purdue University... SAFETY.
University of Michigan... GOOD FIT.
University of Rochester... GOOD FIT.
University of Pittsburgh... SAFETY.
Case Western Reserve University... LIKELY.
University of Notre Dame... SEMI-REACH.
Carnegie Mellon University... SEMI-REACH.
Vanderbilt University... SEMI-REACH.
Emory University... SEMI-REACH.
Georgia Institute of Technology... LIKELY.
Haverford College... SEMI-REACH.
Northwestern University... SEMI-REACH.
Rice University... REACH.
Cornell University... REACH.
University of Pennsylvania... REACH.
Amherst College... REACH

for top schools: mediocre gpa and sats. ok ECs (all depends on how prestigious are these "nationally published papers". are you a co-author? i don't really understand how a high school student can publish 7 "nationally published papers")

reject by penn, amherst, cornell
others are maybes

Hey, what school? Indiana Academy? Yea, like firefox said, what are those 7 published papers? Even if you're a 2nd or 3rd author for all of them, you're in great shape. Not many high school students can publish papers in scientific journals, let alone 7.
