That’s not a prompt for the Common App essay

Don’t post your essays on the discussion board. Now, anyone can plagiarize your essay and colleges won’t bother to determine who stole from whom. Post a request to have people read your essay and then PM them.

You wrote an essay for the 2012-2013 topic list. Here is the 2014-2015 topic list for which you should be writing:

 1. Some students have a background or story that is so central to their identity that they believe their application would be incomplete without it. If this sounds like you, then please share your story.
2. Recount an incident or time when you experienced failure. How did it affect you, and what lessons did you learn?
 3. Reflect on a time when you challenged a belief or idea. What prompted you to act? Would you make the same decision again?
 4. Describe a place or environment where you are perfectly content. What do you do or experience there, and why is it meaningful to you?
 5. Discuss an accomplishment or event, formal or informal, that marked your transition from childhood to adulthood within your culture, community, or family.

How do i delete it? ㅠㅠ

I think you could easily mold the essay to fit the first prompt if you changed parts of it around. You don’t need to delete everything, but you would need to significantly rework parts of the essay.

I think it fits the third prompt the best. You challenged the beliefs of the Chinese government. You can talk about that.

Actually, scratch my earlier comment. It fits the third one well.

I don’t think you can delete it, but maybe if you flag it, an administrator could take it down for you?
