I have posted this thread on the international forum, and have received some good answer. Now I would like to obtain opinions from the local perspective. I have been rejected from Wharton and I am torn between these three remaining choices:

Columbia - Econ
Duke - Econ
NYU Stern - Finance

I am a Thai (SE Asian) and would like to work in an investment bank. I realize that they are all good schools, but which one will most likely get me a good job in IB? Thank you for every answer! By the way, I have been in CC for almost a year now as a lurker, and I think it's freakin' great!

Duke/Columbia probably offer you similar shots at an IBank job (very good if you work hard)..... NYU is significantly below either of those schools in terms of overall name prestige with employers. Since you want to work in the Northeast, I strongly suggest Columbia.... it also has a very diverse student body which is good for an international.

If Wharton was your first choice that means you wanted to study business, not econ, so I would say go to Stern.

Recruiting-wise I think you'll be fine at either of those schools. It's the academics (content, not quality) that are going to be different between Stern and the others.

Duke and Columbia are above Stern in terms of selectivity, but it depends on what type of education you want...I would say Duke and Columbia if you want to major in general econ while Stern is more focused, but the former two are much more selective and "prestigious" I'd say

Honestly, if you a good student at ANY of these you'll get an IB job. Almost 100% of my friends with over a 3.6 got offers at top banks. Go to the school that you like the most, they are very different socially. Would you choose a lexus over a BMW because it has 1 more hp? Nope. Same goes here.
