<p>i graduated high school in Australia,, but not a citizen.</p>

<p>my grade,, hm,, I have no idea about GPA, but my score was alright,,, dunno.</p>

<p>ok..
let me tell you guys all of info i hav..</p>

<p>i did IB, final was 36,, (math/Eng/2nd Lang HL, phy/che/eco SL)
some awards,, dux in yr10
math competition, top 0.3%...</p>

<p>extracurricular act. as u know 160hrs included to get IB diploma.</p>

<p>And,,, not anymore i guess ^^;;</p>

<p>it's seriously,,, too late,, but i'm applying some unis,, inc. SUNY-Bing, MSU
but,, dunno if there's certain level,, to get in,, </p>

<p>PLZ PLZ anyone help me figure it out,, I hav no idea which uni i need to apply..</p>

maybe if you could specify which aspects you want in a college... alot ppl here can help you but you need to tell us more.
have you ever taken the sat? and btw, american universities dont really look at your final IB scores (except after you get admitted for credit), they want the grades you got in them.
and for your extra curriculars, what kind of things did you do? i know you need to do CAS, but if you just did 160 h of volunteer work or sports, then you`ll have a hard time getting in the competitive schools,as many ppl have superior extra curriculars. so it depends on what kinds of activities you did.
anywayz, you need to tell us what you want to do and other stats about your self. .</p>

<p>i haven't taken SAT,, so i'm planning to apply for state uni's like suny binghamton, stoney brook, MSU...</p>

<p>and my EC's are much more that 160 in </p>

<p>sports, captain of the house(team) in the competition.
child care, aged care, library assist,
musical instrument (cello), choir, school orchestra, school play(property manager, financial manager)
teaching beginner's foreign languages,,
translation of the school guide..
mathe study group chief
year book committe, editor/art director
traditional art exhibition (finacial manager/cheif director)
etc,,</p>

<p>awards
mathe competition, top 0.3% each year (3)
principal's award academic excellence,,, for 3 years,
dux, once.</p>

<p>but another problem,, i do not really hav official documents... to prove,, i did much more than 160hrs,, but i can prove 160 only..</p>

<p>i already graduated,,</p>

<p>i coulde get some info from others,, some say they are quite crap, some say they are quiet competitive...</p>

<p>i dont now which one to believe,,,
i personally like suny,, binghamton or stony brook...</p>

maybe,, i cot,,, average A to B</p>

<p>You,,,,,, will,, NEVER get,, into,, an,,, American,,, university, as,, long,,, as, ,you,, do,, this ,,,,........ one comma will do just fine when necessary.</p>

i think it would be in your best interest to take the SATs. you'll do fine on them judging from your IB scores, and most american universities require them. what year are you planning on applying for? class of 2010, 2011??</p>

<p>are u kiddin me film. totally necessary, the kid uses triple commas every word!!! how can he/she expect to get into college??? can you imagine their essay!!!</p>
