I really hate to say this, but neither of you will get in. Princeton is an extremely high reach for both of you. Your GPA/SAT are average and nothing about your extracurriculars really stand out.

It’s a reach for both of, you but I give you the edge.

I think you are, but reach for both.

I don’t think either will get in. Your apps were similar. Save your time if your essays are actually going to be bad.

He is an ORM. How much will that affect his chances?

They are both ORMs so it doesn’t really matter

so u guys are saying they are not even gonna consider us?
we are that bad?

You both have solid scores, and I think your application is much more complete EC wise, but Princeton is a reach for everyone. If I had to pick, I’d say you have a better chance.

I’d say you have an ok chance. Good luck

Your credentials are fantastic but the sad thing is, the spectrum of Princeton applicants, they’re overwhelmingly average. Nothing at all stands out to me on really either of your applications. I’m sorry, but you’re a classic example of the exemplary student without a hook, destined to go to an excellent non-Ivy school and succeed in life. Too bad.
