plz plz plz plz chance me...

I'm just hoping you throw in some non-miraculous schools as well lobzz, you (everyone) should aim high. Certainly coming from a highly regarded school is a plus if A's a B's are rare, then it should be reflected in your class rank and schools will see that (ie:if a kid with a 3.5 is in the top 5% then they would weight it differently than an applicant with a 3.5 who is in the 30th percentile.) Does your school rank? Keep in mind that the purpose of "standardized" tests is to be able to compare applicants on an "apples to apples" basis...state to state, school to school, student to student. Usually if an applicant is a B/B- student but takes the world's toughest course load (literally if what you say is correct) then their test scores would be exceptionally high based on that outstanding education and their personal breadth of knowledge. If your argument is "I'm really smart but my school is the toughest in the world" I would think the adcoms would expect better test scores? Check the stats of kids from your actual school that got accepted to NYU in the past few years, probably the best reference for you!

hahaha i dnt take the MOST RIGOUROUS courses, but im taking a few APs next yr...tough ones too...but yea im hopefully going to score full marks on the TOEFL...nd no my school doesnt send out ranks...
