Since there is not a PNC bank nearby, would it be possible to create an account and link it to my PennCard once on campus? Is there are representative with a booth? Do I just have to go to one of their locaions?

yes and yes and you could, but linking is done on through the rep during nso fair

if i’m not 18 yet, do i need my parents to set up a PNC account? i’m moving into penn alone because my family is out of the country until the second week of sept.

^I believe you need an adult to cosign with you when you are under 18. At least every bank I went to told me that.

forgive me if im mistaken, but i thought there were multiple pnc’s close to campus. i searched on pnc.com and found that there were many locations right on or near penn.

i think millhouse is saying that there is no pnc bank close to his current location where he could open an account in person before he arrives

there’s a pnc branch at 40th and walnut

ohhh sorry my bad. hasty reading

National City is now a part of PNC. If you have NC branches in your home area, you can set up your accounts now and use PNC ATM’s on Penn’s campus free of charge. NC/PNC did not require my 17-year-old D to have a parent co-signer.
