Hello, I currently attend Grossmont college and I am planning to transfer into PLNU nursing school. The first semester of college I have gotten all A’s except for one B in anatomy. My current gpa is 3.579 and I’m not sure if thats a good gpa. Do you think transferring will be quite hard, almost as if I don’t have a chance to get in? Any tips to help me to get accepted into the school? I will be volunteering as well.
Also, what is it like at PLNU?
Hi! I currently attend PLNU and I have a few friends who are in the nursing program currently and I know it is a lot of hard work but that they are excited for their career. From what I know entrance into the program can be rather competitive. I know for non-transfer students they must maintain a high GPA their freshman year and then apply to the actual nursing program itself.
I think that going on the PLNU website and maybe contacting somebody and attempting to set up a meeting or just an email to first determine if all prerequisites are completed which could be beneficial. At least that way you may have your foot in the door or could receive helpful advice on how to move forward. Good luck in all of your pursuits!
