Point Park Acting Program

Hello! I usually post on the MT board, but I figured maybe I'd get more replies here. I recently auditioned for the MT program at Point Park, but I got accepted to the Acting program instead. I am happy about at least some kind of acceptance for theatre, and it has now become my safety if I don't get into any BFA MT programs. Does anyone know anything about the acting program? I never did any research or asked any questions about it because I wasn't even considering the program until I got accepted. How many kids do they aim to accept every year? How is the training? Are students allowed to take dance classes and voice lessons? How is the faculty? If anyone has ANY information, that would be great!!

Thanks so much!

A friend of mine is an MT major at Point Park and apparently they are pretty open with their acting majors. They are more than welcome to take voice, although because their dance conservatory is very strict, its harder to take a class there.
Point Park is selective, i believe for their dance program they take 25/year and their acting is comparable...
I live in pittsburgh so i get to visit often and their facilities are FANTASTIC....plus there is alot of opportunity for underclassmen
Hope this helps
