Has anyone taken this class? I had a fd, who took this class last sem. and did not pass. Was it really that difficult?
Also, what happens if u didn't pass a class like that?
do u have to take it over again? Or it doesn't matter..?

no it's not that difficult. take some notes, go to the lectures, it's an awesome class.

No, it really isn't hard to pass the class.

If you don't pass, I don't think it matters since p/np doesn't get calculated into your gpa anyway.

Good class, good speakers. But it isn't a class you can just not show up to and expect to pass with flying colors. The test wasn't as easy as I thought it would be, so you definitely need to take notes and study before the final.

if you get a no pass, it does factor into your gpa as a 0 (or the same as an F).

I took it last semester and the final was not as easy as it was made out to be beforehand. It asked about specifics that you couldn't remember even if you had been paying good attention. For a lot of the q's, I had to guess what the answer was based on what the speaker's general views were.

About the pass/not pass gpa q, I'm not sure whether or not it factors into your gpa if you fail, but if you apply to law school, I heard they'll treat a not pass as an F when calculating your gpa.

True. I am not sure about med schools or other professional or graduate programs.
