Polar Opposites (NEU vs MHC)

So, at this point I am trying to decide between Northeasern and Mount Holyoke. It's quite difficult to compare them because they are such different schools, so any insight would be very appreciated.

I'd like to major in journalism, and I think the coop program and internships in Boston would be very helpful. I would also really love to be in Boston, so much more than South Hadley (though I live in a small town now so I could theoretically deal with it). That said, Northeastern is kind of big and impersonal for my taste and I'm not particularly into the party scene. It seems like the people/community at Mt Holyoke would be a bit more me. And of course MHC supposedly gives a better education. I guess those are the main things. I'm visiting both schools this month, so hopefully that will help. They're each giving me about the same amount of money. Thanks.

MHC gets my vote. I think you hit the nail on the head -- better education-- that's what you need for undergrad. You will have the opportunity to do internships over the summer!

I guess I'm just wondering how much better the education is (and also -- I know there's been heated debate over this and have no risk to re-spark it but -- no journalism major. I can't manage to be completely decided on this somehow;) Anyone else have input/comments/suggestions/etc?
