<p>This isn't about "shifting blame." This is about recognizing reality. Children do not have the same capacities as adults and we shouldn't consider them in the same light. </p>
<p>It has nothing to do with "stupid children." Parents are responsible for teaching their children firearm safety. Why should an 11-year-old be expected to know it otherwise?</p>
