<p>Okay, so I want to go to some seminars or talks at a nearby university, but I cannot find any information on if just anyone is allowed to attend. I can't even find my question answered on Google. So is it safe to assume that anyone can go to these talks?</p>
<p>If they’re put on by a graduate department (example: Liberal Arts U Department of Biology brings Professor Smith from Big State U), they’re open to anyone.</p>
<p>Call the department hosting the seminar (ex. Genetics talk? Call the bio department, someone’s bound to know whats going on) and ask. Usually these things are open.</p>
