Policy, Planning, and Development

I've been asking around and researching heavily about this program for a while and for some reason I still can't seem to get much info about it.

And by info, I mean the competitiveness of getting into the program lol. I asked one of my CC's counselor about it and he said the average admit this past year was 3.6. Apparently, not many people apply to USC's school of policy, planning, and development. Is there a reason why this program is so....unknown?

PPD is a fairly new program, and this year was only the second year during which freshmen could apply to the program. It is a very specialized program that most students aren't aware of in high school. I am a PPD major, and I love it, but even I started in architecture, later realizing that PPD coincided more with my interests.

The stats for the major are roughly the same as USC as a whole. Last year, approximately 25% of those who applied were admitted to PPD. I think the school had a 50% yield.

It is a very unique program. Let me know if you have any questions.

im applying as an undergraduate transfer student. (junior level, +30 transferable units)

do you know how competitive PPD's transfer rate is?

Sorry, I have only seen stats for admitted freshmen.
