<p>I recently talked to a PoliSci advisor because it seemed like there were so little Internatonal Polisci classes offered compared to American/Comparative ones. She gave me this sheepish laugh and said that the dept. had to make budget cuts and so 5-6 int. professors left. I was planning on majoring in Int. polisci but now I have no idea what I'm gonna do. I've scheduled a meeting with a general advisor but was wondering if anyone had suggestions/comments regarding this.</p>

<p>Political Science is one of Michigan's better departments. I am surprised Michigan would allow it to fall behind. However, I do not have inside information to comfirm your advisor's claims.</p>
<p>This is probably true....my polisci advisor had me take Intro to World Politics this semester because she said I won't have many choices later down the line...so it'll benefit me.</p>
