I am trying to choose between NYU, GW, and Lehigh. I plan to major in politcal science and have naturally been told "poltical science? go to GW" countless times. However, of all the schools i've visted Lehigh felt the best. I love the campus and i love how active the social scene is. What i need to know more about is: how is the PS department (will i have good chances at law school)? does it suck to be in bethleham ( i know its bluntly put and there seem to be awesome things to do on campus, but what is life like in a small town?)

any responses would be greatly appreciated!

Political Science. Hmm.
Well I would not say that Lehigh is at all geared towards political science.
Definitely more of an engineering and business school.
PS at lehigh is a pretty small program like the psychology or philosophy programs.
However, if you are interested in engineering (not necessarily getting a degree), there is a great program called IDEAS (integrated degree in Engineering and Arts & Sciences).
I am currently in the IDEAS program doing Mech E and Pre-Law.
I too want to go to Law school (patent law?).

I would say if you really care about the political science program and really dedicated in getting law school through that then Lehigh probably isn’t the best for that.

But if are on the fence about programs then I would say lehigh’s great campus and other features make it a good choice.
