Currently, I am applying to transfer to different universities. I am being considered for a state chair position for a national libertarian grassroots organization. Of course, this is a large position on a national level. However, I am wondering how colleges would feel about this.
I see a lot of students who were on governmental youth advisory boards and some who did work for Young Democrats. However, I’m wondering about how some colleges will feel about an organization that is perceived to be more conservative in nature.
I don’t have an extensive background with the organization. I am just good with branch management and I am a free speech advocate.
Would it be safe to include this on an application?
