<p>What about some of the weird questions on the test Like "the enemy of my enemy is my friend"? I said "no" and I later found out that that makes me more authoritarian. That makes no sense. In a way it does make sense, but I still hold that the aforementioned motto compromises principles greatly.</p>

<p>Generally, young people will tend to lean to the libertarian side of the social scale, while older people will be more authoritarian. For the last century and a half, each generation has been increasingly socially permissive. This is true regardless of one's economic standpoint.</p>
