<p>So my common app essay was my switch from conservative to liberal during high school. Its not saying why conservatives are stupid or anything but it shows the personal reasons why and how i made the steps to the other side of the political spectrum. Anyways though I wanted to know if that was an appropriate/good essay topic for the common app essay.</p>
<p>I think it can be as long as it doesn’t deride or accuse the other side of anything.</p>
