Political Science and/or Environmental Studies?

So, basically my college stinks, and I'm going to transfer to another one. I'd like to go somewhere medium to large sized (current is very small, and everyone is the same, so I'm looking for a more diverse student body), with a strong program in political science and/or environmental studies (not sure what I want to be, but both interest me a lot). It'd be nice to go somewhere people have heard of before, outside the immediate area surrounding the school. Any ideas? If possible, I'd like an explanation, as well as the school name.

Thanks, guys! :)

I'm going to be an Enviro Studies major at Wellesley this fall. It's not a large school, has like 2400 women. They have three different tracks you can take: Environmental Science, Environmental Justice and Philosophy, Environmental Economics and Policy.

Ooh, that sounds really neat. I'm not sure about attending an all female school, though; I spent some time at Mt. Holyoke during school the past year, and the environment there was... tense. I hated how so many of the girls there pretty much threw themselves at anything remotely male. Then again, it is entirely possible I only saw the bad side of the school, since I didn't actually go there and all.

Wisconsin-Madison. Great Poli Sci dept and a special Enviro program. UW is in a large fun college town. Out of state enrollment is nearly 35% with many internationals.

Duke is very strong in both (Terry Sanford Institute as well as the Nicholas School of the Environment), but it's tough to transfer in. Michigan, Cornell, UNC Chapel Hill, Northwestern, and JHU are a few others.

Interesting ideas. Thank you for your input, guys :)

Rice has a Policy Studies major with an Environmental Policy concentration. It is only available as a second major though.
