Political Science at MIT

how's political science/public administration/public policy for grad school/PhD at MIT? Any input is appreciated. thanks! :)

hello? anyone know anything about this?

bump.......................

If you can get into MIT, it'd probably be better to get into schools of the same caliber with GREAT Poli-sci programs (Harvard, Yale, Columbia) to name a few.

I think Georgetown considered to have a good Political Science Department.

Uh, Columbia? According to the USNews 2007 Graduate Edition, Premium version, MIT is tied with Columbia for 10th in Political Science. Hence, there is no reason to believe that Columbia's poli-sci program is any more worthy of greatness than MIT's is.

Georgetown is ranked #41 in poli-sci in the USNews Graduate Premium Edition, 2007.

I have heard a LOT of great things from professors at Harvard, etc. about MIT's humanities- and social sciences-related graduate school programs. I can't provide you with a ranking but they have got some great faculty and such.

Really sakky. Well I learned something new today. I could swear I heard multiple people say G-Town was good in Political Science

milki: I think you're probably talking about Georgetown's School of Foreign Service that's so highly rated, not the University itself
