Political Science B.A.

Hi guys. Alright, I am currently racking my brain, rereading the same hundreds of sites every day, trying to figure out what the best path for me would be. And I am not going to let you guys decide my future for me, but I would just like some helpful and varied opinions on the matter.

I am currently a student at SUNY Cortland and my major is English. I have recently though been leaning towards Political Science, because I enjoy the classes more, am very opinionated, love debates, and just have a general passion for politics.

I am thinking about majoring in Poli Sci, trying to get a great GPA, and doing one of the good internships they offer at the school in my upper-classman years, and then going for my masters at a good grad school.

Now, what I'm wondering is, how is the general job field for people with a Masters in Poli Sci? What about in NYC specifically? What kind of jobs can I get (journalism, lobbying, etc.?). Also, would concentrating in something related to Environmental help? I have a profound love for the environment and would be willing to work in that area politically also.

any help would be much appreciated, thanks.
