Political Science/Business Double Major?

I know that in most cases that political science is in the social sciences college and business is in the business school, but is it possible to double major in both at some schools?

It’s usually possible to accomplish at most schools. Although it might depend on the school.

It is possible at Michigan-Ann Arbor. Ross only requires 55 credits and the program’s prerequisites are mostly taken in the school of LSA, which is where Political Science is housed. One can get a well rounded liberal arts education and double major in Political Science and Business with relative ease. The same is true at UVa (McIntire) and UC-Berkeley (Haas). I am not sure about other programs, but I think four-year business programs are not as flexible.

George Washington University has a Business, Economics, and Public Policy major housed in their business school. Its seems like a good fit for your interests. They had Federal Reserve Chairman Bernanke give a class this spring and they always get heads of of the IMF and World Bank and other major organizations give lectures there. They’ll be introducing a new curriculum next year, but this link should give you a general idea of what they offer:
