Political Science classes

What are some easy or interesting poli sci classes?

PS 40 with Schwartz is embarrassingly easy. It’s basically AP US Gov’t from high school in disguise.

yes. polisci 40 is extremely easy. ps30 was interesting, it was a whole mess of game trees, they were kind of fun. if you can take it with professor bawn, take it. (:

Is PS40 so easy that it’s worth having it on a Thursday if I would otherwise have the day off? Because right now I’m enrolled in two poli sci classes, 50 and 40, but I’m planning on dropping one. From what I hear 50 is pretty difficult with Thies but if I took that class I would have Thursdays off while if I took 40 I’d have lecture from 12:30 to 1:45.

I’m taking Poli Sci 40 right now in summer session C with Professor De Maio, and it’s also very easy. I don’t know about Schwartz, but it doesn’t sound like a problem. Just take the Thursday classes.

Well, you can have Thursday off AND take PS 40 with Schwartz if you skip the lectures and instead just read the good set of lecture notes that he posts online…

What about easy upper divs?

^^ i also want to know lol

^^ me too haha upper divs anyone

I didn’t do well with this course because I was dumb and overwhelmed myself with too many other things that quarter, but PS125 (Arms Control) is supposed to be easy.

Has anyone taken POL SCI 50 with THIES? I’ve checked out BruinWalk and it seems like it is quite difficult. I just want more opinions of the class before I enroll in it.
