I am currently a high school junior and i plan on going to college after this year by taking the chspe(California High School Proficiency Exam). I'm most likely going to go to a CC nearby and then transfer. I plan on going into a political science major to get into law school. The colleges that I hope to get into in order are: Stanford, UC Berkeley, UC San Diego, UCI, or UCLA. Are there any suggestions on how i may get into any of the schools with these current grades or suggestions about any different schools i should choose from or possibly look into?

Here are some stats
GPA: 3.5 UW 3.75 W
APs: Human Geography(4), and currently taking US history, environmental science, and Calculus AB.
Ecs: Volunteer for a school club for a year
3 year wrestler
Involved in a business blub

Do not become a Political Science major if you are serious about going to law school and becoming a lawyer. A Political Science major will 1) teach you absolutely nothing valuable or germane to your success on the LSAT or in law school, 2) will SEVERELY (and I really mean severely) limit your job prospects and earning potential if you decide not to go to law school directly from undergrad, and 3) will make you blend in with the thousands upon thousands of other unemployable Political Science majors who are also applying to law school along with you.

Your high school GPA, AP courses, and most all extracurriculars are irrelevant to law school admissions. Your LSAT score and college GPA together will account for basically your entire admissions decision unless you are applying to YHS, in which case some kind of unique life experience or contribution is important.
