I never visited Cornell, but I was planning on applying to it regular decision and then if I got in then I would look at it. However, I was recently looking at the website and saw that they don't have a political science major or any major dealing with politics or law or anything like that. Am I mistaken or is this really true? Cornell is the first school I've seen that does not have any majors even remotely close to politics or law.

there is a "government" major.

oh yeah ur right...my bad thanks....does anyone know how it is?

Also...can anyone comment on the social life at cornell (frat parties, etc) and how much work there is compared to other top schools

The main pre-law major is International Labor Relations (ILR). ILR is a college here (and its state funded if ur frm ny). Also I kno pre-law ppl majoring in gov't, american studies, and international relations in arts and sciences. But not all pre-law ppl major in that kinda stuff. u can major in anything and go to law school. there are ppl majoring in psych, sociology, human development, everything lol
and frats are amazing and theres tons of work
