Political Science Minor

Now that they changed the sign ups so that only Political Science majors are restricted poli sci classes at first pass, is it even worth it for me to pursue this minor? I don't even know if I will get into any of the upper division classes (especially the classes I'm interested in) if I have to wait until second pass to sign up since they fill up so fast.

I'm also a senior so I only have 2 quarters left but I'm almost finished (1 more class!) with my major and I have a lot of free time. I need 5 poli sci upper divs. I really don't want to have to take summer school, sigh.

I'm in the same boat, the only difference being that I'm a junior. I'm a history major and getting close to finishing the major, so I decided to minor in poli sci. I haven't taken an upper div yet, and if I can't get one this quarter, I'm probably going to drop the minor. However, I'm also double minoring in Public Affairs, which has courses that overlap with poli sci, and a few history courses do as well. So I might be able to pull it off. I don't know what your major is, but you should check to see if there's overlap. You could also talk to professors to see if they'll take pity on you.
