I am currently looking at Graduate Schools for PHD Political Science Programs. I am currently attending a relatively unknown liberal arts college and I have a 3.8 GPA and I expect to have attained a 650 Verbal, 730 Quantitative GRE scores. I will have good recomedendation letters and resume but not a great writing sample. What are some good schools to apply to for American Politics or Political Theory?

You should ask this in the Grad School Forum. Go to the main page where all of the forums are listed, and scroll down to find it.
Good luck with everything!

thanks for the help! Had some trouble finding as I am a new member but I got the handle on it.

Even at a relatively unknown liberal arts college your professors likely attended some of the best schools in the country; with the glut of PhDs the job market is so bad that even small schools get top talent. Point being, you should talk to your profs to get their advice and assistance.

Thanks Mike…I just kind of feel that there is significantly less information concerning graduate programs than undergraduate programs with the exception of business, law, medicine. A lot of grad programs won’t give out their gre/gpa averages in addition to being flimsy with funding guarantees.
