Political Science Safeties?

I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas for safeties that are strong in political science.

I have a GPA around 3.5 and an SAT score of 1960 on my first try with a 680 CR 650 M and 630 W.

So far I'm looking at:
American University
George Washington U
UNC-CH (instate)
Macalester college
Rice University

Thanks in advance :)

I would look at LACs like

Denison University Big Red
Ohio Wesleyan University Bishops
Lawrence University Vikings
Kalamazoo College Hornets
Knox College Prairie Fire
Illinois Wesleyan University Titans

These aren’t necessarily safeties, but they would be good matches.

I would also look at Syracuse.

anyone else have any ideas?

If you are also interested in study abroad or global studies, I’ll offer a suggestion:

Since you are considering Macalester, you are not afraid of cold weather, right? So look into Concordia College in Moorhead Minnesota. And interesting safety with good political science and great study abroad, a very international perspective. 2800 students.

Your state’s flagship might be a great safety too - have you investigated it?

Yah, I’ve looked at UNC. I’m a bit wary of calling it a true safety though :/
