Political Science???

What exactly do you learn as a political science major?
What courses are typical for someone who majors in this area?

…
…

The types of higher level courses would most likely vary by school, but the general core classes would almost always be similar. Your best bet would be to look at the course catalog for the specific school you’re interetested in or already attending.

Go look at course catalogs for colleges you are considering; that would tell you what they do.

Generally, I know PS majors take courses in the 4-6 sub-categories of political science (4-6 or whatever depending on the school): American Gov, International Gov, Foreign Policy, Law/Constitution stuff, Public Policy, Political Theory, etc. categories like that, there may be more, but that’s what I can think of right now from what I know about it. Hope that helps a little!
