I’m a sophomore in high school and very interested in political science. Here are my credentials:
4.5 GPA
1420 on my most recent SAT practice test(most likely will improve by actual SAT)
750 on reading/writing section
670 on math section
Taking all Pre-AP/AP classes (no AP test scores yet)
12th in a class of 744
Eagle Scout
Member of the top orchestra at my school
Consistent member of the Region V Orchestra
Member of the marching band
Member of the debate team
Hope to volunteer this summer on a congressional campaign (democrat) in my state (Texas)

I know it’s early to be asking these questions, but does anyone have any thought on the best political science school I could be accepted into in the future, as long as I stay diligent?

Yes, and to bolster that list, contact your local American Legion and ask about Texas Boys State. It is a 5 day camp at UT Austin that’s essentially a mock government/leadership camp. You’ll learn a lot more from doing stuff there than you can out of a textbook.
