Politicl Science at UPenn

<p>Hey Guys,</p>

<p>I've just finished my sophomore year and I am planning to major either in poli science or business. How strong is the poli science department at UPenn? and how does it compare to the poli science departments at cornell and columbia?</p>

<p>The second question I have is that how hard is it to get into CAS as compared to wharton? and Is there a possibility that I can obtain a BA in poli science and BS in Economics, I know about the Huntsman Program and many other dual degrees but I've heard that Upenn gives u a lot of freedom in desiging ur own path :P</p>

<p>You can get a BA in political science and a BA in Economics both from CAS.<br>
I don't know much about double majoring between colleges. But I do know it's very hard and demanding if one of the schools is Wharton.</p>

<p>Penn's polisci, while excellent, is not world-famous. It is probably on par with Cornell and inferior to Columbia. Of course, at the undergrad level, they will all be phenomenal for you.</p>
