Politics

Let me give you my rundown on politics.
BTW, I'm new to the board. I'm a Harvard EAer(1450 SAT) waiting to hear.
Libertarian economics is the best economics political philosophy out their. Adam Smith was a genius. Marx is an idiot.
Socialism is stupid. Liberalism is stupid. I can get into the philosophical points, but their is no point.
Republicans are merely liberals with fascist leanings and Democrats are merely liberals with communist leanings.
I am a proud Calhoun (John C.) Democrat. (Not to be confused with FDR, the scoundrel) If I have to be associated with a political party, put me down as a Constitutionalist.
Look forward to posting further on the board.

I left one comment out.
Albeit that I agree with most of Libertarianism, it has become much too abstract to have my support.

Bump baBump

I'll add my name to the Conservative list. Despite being from MA :)

Conservative and Republican! I supported bush but not hardcore, mainly because john edwards disgusts me and makes me want to throw up. Kerry just seems like a boring puppet for the democrats. A lot of people in Boston are very hardcore liberal though.

redsoxfan87--S'okay...I'm the grandaughter of proud MA neo-cons. I understand. ; )

I'm probably the most conservative person here, lol :) Take the quiz at politicalcompass dot org and list your score. I'm 7.00 Economic and 6.21 Social!

Hi! Conservative!

Glad to see another conservative. BCgoUSC's posts seem pretty dead on when it comes to Libertarians. A lot of you guys are very politically atune.

Extremely socially liberal, fiscally moderate.

Of course, there are issues within those subsets that I have different views on (i.e. no legalization of drugs and a lesser role of public welfare).

I don't understand how anyone can vote for BUsh...he's so stupid first off, without his daddy he would never be prez, and he would be NOWHERE without his cabinet. I am an Independent, and I think Bush does not desrerve to be president, especially with all the other smart and better qualified people in this world. He acts as if he is better than everyone, and he can't speak english.

He has the hardest job in the world.
Cut him some slack.
He scored higher on the SAT than Kerry!

Way to stay on topic...seriously...You notice that this thread has nothing to do about whether Bush should/should not be president??

And no one is doing the political quiz!! Its at www.politicalcompass.org. If that doesn't work, type in politicalcompass dot org.

conservative. certainly woulda voted for bush. conservatives have a lot of problems with him and some things that he's done, but Kerry was much worse.

hey Justice, I'm a prospective 09-- Reagan Republican

keep it up, those colleges need us

Got a Constitutionalist right here. The Republ. and Democr. aren't doing the right things, but the Republicans are the best of the two. I'm a proud Calhoun Democrat.

I'm a 2009 Prospective student.

Also, a Green Partier.

Not.

I'm a Republican, social conservative, fiscal conservative. But I'm fairly moderate, 4.00 and 3.7ish on the politicalcompass.org scale.

Yay! Finally someone took the test!! Thank you. Anyone else???

7 and 7
Don't know what it means though
