<p>Yeah man. I’m chill. I guess I just don’t like confrontation at all…just seems more prevalent among liberals.</p>
<p>Its funny, I’m from one of the most liberal states in America, Minnesota (voted dem for pres last 9 elections, longest streak in the nation) but I live in one of the most conservative districts in America (we’ve had a repub state and national rep for god knows how long). I’m like in the severe minority as a liberal in my school.</p>
<p>I take a dim view of politicians in general. It seems to me that the best you can do is try to vote in the right mix of people so all the crookedness cancels out into something non-catastrophic. I’m fiscally conservative, but no actual politicians are these days. On moral issues I’m extremely conservative personally but don’t feel that it’s the government’s job to tell adults what they can and can’t do in their own homes. The big exception is abortion: I think that an unborn baby is a human with the rights of humans and the protection of law, and so aborting a baby is only justified if the situation is so serious that we would kill a already-born baby over it.</p>

<p>I really can’t stand GB and Limbaugh. People who follow them religiously are to blame for the severe partisanship in the Legislature IMO.</p>

<p>I am a staunch conservative who loves Ann Coulter, Palin, Beck (though, a bit bombastic), Dr. Laura, Rush, and fair FOX news. But then again, I am committed to never having sex outside of marriage, never drinking alcohol, and just living a stellar, honorable life. I love squeeky clean living!!!</p>

<p>I could NEVER imagine living any other way. I love to live like Jesus Christ. He is no joke, nor is His or my lifestyle. Jesus showed us the NORMAL way to live. Those who choose to live their own way of loose living, ya know, anarchist, rebels, are all selfish. They are the opposite of Jesus. He is about making other people’s life wonderful. The Dude has life right. Why in God’s name would I choose any lifestyle less then what He modeled? I love prim and proper living. What is so wrong with that? Why judge me? If you choose to live differently, that’s your perogative.</p>

It sounds more like you are sane and with great self-esteem, not wanting to give yourself away, encouraging guys to have live with the guilt of having sex outside of marriage. You’re respecting your body and other guys by not getting dirty with poor morals. I respect you!!</p>

<p>@gump- AC is by far and away my favorite news anchor out there. And you don’t have to be an adult to do those things FYI :). I am not a follower of Jesus and I’m pretty young and I already do more hours of charity than every Christian/Muslim I know lol. </p>
<p>@east- Not necessarily. I don’t believe in having sex outside of committed relationships (I’m not really into the whole marriage thing) and I don’t drink or use drugs. But I’m about as liberal as they come. The difference is, I don’t believe in limiting other’s rights to drink or use drugs or to tell them who and who they cannot love/marry/have sex with it. Make sense?</p>
