I never cheat but I allow others to / do not actively prevent others from doing so.

But they will receive the death stare if they're grade heightens the scale (that has yet to happen with all the intelligent ppl who don't need to cheat at my school)

"I never cheat but I allow others to / do not actively prevent others from doing so."

I think a lot of CC users fall under this category or a similar one. Nobody is enough of a loser to force other people to stop cheating (which is usually just stupid stuff like copying hw), and nobody cheats like crazy because I'm sure we all have a good deal of pride.

At least, that's why I don't cheat. A good grade symbolizes that I know my stuff and that I'm learning and all that jazz. It's just an empty icon if I cheat, so I don't. Yeah, I'll admit it... I'm probably a victim of hubris.

i actually find it really annoying when people cheat although i really shouldnt care... i mean its like do your own work... if you dont know the answer then you obviously didnt prepare...

I try not to cheat, but recognize that I probably have. I try to discourage my friends from cheating, but I probably have assisted them without thinking by letting them borrow some of my stuff occasionally when they say, "I need to catch up on notes... I need to check my answers, etc." Honestly, I would never report anyone over a "white cheating" because i think its similar to white lying in that we all do it a little, no matter how goody two shoes we try to be. However, if my anonymity were gauranteed, I would try to prevent cheating on tests and exams.

The only think that I do that would be considered cheating is copying homework from time to time, which is still really rare for me.
Sometimes I glance at people's paper hoping to see something valuable, but I either don't see it, or don't have enough time to look. Cheating makes you feel guilty, anyway.

So yeah:
I sometimes cheat and I allow others to / do not actively prevent others from doing so.

I don't cheat and couldn't care less about whatever other people are doing. I don't let people copy MY stuff, if that's what it's really asking.

I cheat when I have too…meaning the assignment is graded and it slipped my mind. When it’s an everyday thing (for people to copy my work) I charge 1.50. (Of course the price depends on the amount of work).

^Hey, you revived a year old thread too lol:)
I don’t really cheat, mainly because it’s pointless, I have a significant amount of guilt afterwords, and there is no point(again haha). The only time I really have cheated was on this chemistry test that I failed anyway so it didn’t really do anything for me. When you cheat, you are degrading yourself and you aren’t being fair or honest. I would feel terrible. It’s just best to avoid cheating, especially because bad habits could ensue, which wouldn’t be beneficial for college.

I never cheat but I allow others to / do not actively prevent others from doing so, unless I’m 99% sure of it and its truly an egregious violation.
