Poll: Are ACTUALLY willing to go to your "safety" school?

@NYCMomof3

Yes, maybe bragging rights. I agree.

They just apply to too many schools they wouldn’t let their kids attend anyway. Meanwhile, kids who want desperately to go there are being waitlisted. In addition, they get their child to learn inefficiency by heart.

sharinggift, how did it go? I’m curious about whether the smoke signal you thought you might have received turned out to be one-we had a similar experience in similar time frame ;)

@dowzerw, yes we got notification at 12:01 AM on March 10. :)

lol! congratulations! ours likewise turned out to be fortuitous. woo hoo!

I am definitely willing to go to my safety school.

It might seem weird, but I consider a top-tier HADES school to be one of my safeties due to its sports offerings.

I’m kind of only applying to “safety schools”. I don’t believe that I would receive a sufficient education at a HADES school or any school with such an uptight and stressful atmosphere. I highly recommend checking out hidden gem schools instead of going straight to the big name schools.

I think what I am referring to is a different type of safety school than what this thread is talking about, but I am like @prepster1234. Check out my thread on regular college “safety” schools: <a href=“Who out there only applied to safety schools? - Applying to College - College Confidential Forums”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/college-admissions/1718982-who-out-there-only-applied-to-safety-schools-p1.html</a>
