Poll: Democrat or Republican

OMG we found him!

Liberal/Independent

I’m a Liberal democrat…whoop whoop!

I agree with most everything you said. Except… a true conservative never hates anyone. (Including Obama!)

And I’m not hugely into evolution. I do believe in survival of the fittest though… so I’m good with that aspect.

Ronald Reagan was amazing. And our economy was amazing with him.

However… the republican party sucks. The leaders are all corrupt and really should be democrats… because none of them are conservative.

And to all of you who say Fox News is biased? Why don’t you look at CNN for a change? That network is super biased.

And why is someone who is a ‘conservative’ dumb automatically? Maybe we are right. Maybe you’re right. Maybe we’re all wrong. But no one should be dumb for believing something differently than you.

I’m tired of the general media calling conservatives dumb and cracking jokes about us. It’s particularly horrid in Hollywood. Just because you have the right to say something, doesn’t mean you should say it.

More like MSNBC.
I don’t think CNN is super-biased, but does it lean a little to the left.
Cable news is about ratings, and being full of bias is a lot more exciting than being fair and-balanced. There’s a reason why Fox has such high ratings. It’s alarmist, and that’s fun. MSNBC has been beating CNN in ratings for a few years now. Again, it’s alarmist, and that’s fun.
If you want real news, watch something where ratings don’t matter.

A Devoter Christian

Bill O’Reilly and Rush Limbaugh are my heros (both are second to Ronald Reagan though)

Very similar to me.

Though I don’t really like Rush that much. He brings up a few good points, but other times, he just sounds like a moron.
I don’t hate Palin, just think she should not try to run on her own. Maybe she could be a fundraiser though. She can attract a crowd, those who love and those who hate her would come out.
I’m pretty apathetic about the gay rights stuff, but I guess I’m slightly for it. But I’m not going to be protesting it anytime soon.

I actually really like most of the South too, and I’ve lived in the North my whole life(unless you consider NoVA “South”).

Don’t want to start a debate here and I know this is hot button topic on CC, but I hate racial based AA. It is freaking racism by definition. I think it should be changed to socioeconomic.

Oh and big military supporter. Kind of have to be, dad was in and I plan on joining.

I am a Liberal.

Social Issues – Really far left, left of Democrats
Public Policy – Liberal
Economics – Not really sure but I can say that whenever I hear someone call Obama a socialist I respond “So what if he is?”
Foreign Policy/Immigration – Very liberal, esp on immigration.
Gun Control – The odd one out, I tend to lean conservative on this issue.

Hmm, I’m a little confused here… so you do believe in natural selection. Well, that’s good, since evolution was Lamarck’s idea and he got it wrong. Evolution is a misnomer, really.

Anyways, I’m vote Democrat through and through. I’m incredibly liberal. I’m a budding socialist.

I’m staunchly pro-choice. I don’t even think there’s anything wrong with abortion.

I’m a feminist.

I don’t just believe in gay marriage, I don’t even care if you are a polygamist. If all parties involved are adult and consenting, I don’t care who you marry. It doesn’t affect me in the least.

I hate kids and don’t want to get married. I’m a woman.

I believe in nationalized health care.

I’ll pay more in taxes for more services. I like some of the European systems.

I believe that the government needs some serious re-structuring and that too much money is being wasted.

I think that liberal arts and humanity majors are important for society and that they can be successful.

I don’t think being happy has anything to do with my pay check so long as I can pay the bills.

I absolutely abhor faith-based initiatives. There should be complete separation of church and state - for the benefit for the state AND the church.

I believe in comprehensive sex education. I don’t believe anyone should be able to opt out of it.

I think we spend way too much time and money on the military. I don’t agree with our current foreign policy.

Even if you don’t think global warming is happening, I think you’re ridiculous if you think it’s not necessary to change our ways and take better care of the earth. I am not perfect in this matter and I do many things wrong.

I don’t think Obama is far left enough, and I definitely don’t think he’s doing everything right. I am impressed by Obama because he is the generation shift.

I would not be terribly torn up with families were limited to two children or less. However, most of the policies enforcing this have so many problems that I’m not sure this would even be possible.

I’m anti-religious and I’ll admit it. I am not anti-faith. The two are separable quantities. Water is always H2O and it seems like one entity from day to day, but when you look deeper, there’s more going on.

I believe education is key.

I believe that we should teach science in the science classroom and social science in a social science classroom.

That’s a tiny summary.

I’m a Libertarian.

If I had to choose between Democrat and Republican I would choose the Republican ideology except for the fact that the party is crap nowadays.

Also, I would guess that CC has more republicans/libertarians than the national average

Republican all the wayyyyyyyyyyyyy

Very Liberal Democrat

I disagree. Unless you are talking about for our age group, I’d say the average person posting here is between 15-24 and then you have adults. Most people in the first group tend to be majority liberal, thats just the way it is.

So I guess I’m surprised so many younger people are conservatives, on this site at least.

My school is about 60/40 liberal advantage, proved by our mock election last year. But the conservatives are more vocal and the poll broke the election down by all four grades.
Frosh: like 70% Obama
Soph: little less than 60% Obama
Jr: Obama barely won the junior class
Sr. McCain won, but it was close.

lol and my one teachers who everyone thinks is a moron said “well they get smarter as they get older” as she read it in the school paper. She have have been a crappy science teacher, but I agreed with her that time!

Haha ya I attend a school in Nebraska (a pritty conservative state). Anyway we do those dumb mock elections every 2 years and last year was like the first year in the 90 year history of our school that a democrat actually won something…ya probably gonna b a little different if I attend a top 20 college

Liberal Democrat. Very liberal.

If I make a few modifications…

…then this sounds a lot like me.

Why is atheism always associated with liberalism? That’s just an accusation by the GOP against the Democrats, saying they are godless infidels.

Why did you write all of this when you could’ve just said, “I’m from South Carolina!”

:)

SHOCKING

It was either “TheyCallmeCC” or “Smilemyonly” that was posting with me on this exact subject.

bump…lol feel like talking politics

Democrat, EASILY.

Democrats= The working class and intellectuals.

Republicans= Christians, rednecks, and rich people who only care about money.

^Yes, me too. Lets see if I can start a debate

Puts on democrat mask
All Republicans are going to hell for allowing SIN to be taught to our children

Takes off democrat mask and puts on Republican mask
All Democrats are idiots who believe that the world is flat and the Sun revolves around the Earth

Takes off second mask
Come on people! Let’s argue!

Edit: Hang on, after seeing Saugus post, have I got my American Politics mixed up?
