Poll: How many APs?

How many APs have you already taken or are currently taking? How many are offered at your school?

Which courses?

Optional (just out of curiousity): official/predicted scores?

of APs: 7 (plus 3 self-studied APs)

AP courses: USH, English Lang, English Lit, Chem (not taking test), US Gov, Macroecon, Calc AB, Spanish Lang (self-study), French Lang (self-study), Microecon (self-study)

Scores: USH (5), English Lang (5), English Lit (5 if I take test), US Gov (3 last May, took course, but not retaking exam), Macroecon (5 predicted), Calc AB (3/4 pred), Spanish Lang (5 pred), French Lang (3/4 pred), Microecon (5 pred)

for self study, do you actually get books and tests sent to you from a planned cirriculum or do you kind of just do whatever and go take the test at the end of the year?

Officially 5 (it was 6 until I dropped Gov the day before christmas break), plus 2 more

9th grade: AP Calc AB (5), 11th grade: AP English Lit (4), AP US History (4), plus I took AP Calc BC (4) (damn that test was a beast. or maybe i should have actually looked at the syllabus...) and AP German Language (3) just for kicks. This year, 12th grade: AP English Lang (prolly a 3 or 4) and AP Chem (I would kill for a 5.)

1; umm 5 about 10 at our school i think
2 AP Chem 4 , AP calc BC 5, AP US 4, AP Lit and AP Bio, prolly a 5 on biio, i can only hope for a 4 or 5 on lit

all high scorers so far... anyone receive any of those ap distinction awards (do they even exist)?

ahhh everyone's taking ap calc in freshman year. i feel so dumb for taking it in 12th grade. one guy at my school took bc as a fresh... i think he scored a 5.

yeah.. i got some of those awards.. not much use, didnt get me into princeton...focus on other things...

I got AP Scholar or something in the mail. I'm not really sure. It doesn't matter since it came after my acceptance letter, which was much more exciting ;)

hehe prettyfish, congrats! princeton's where i want to be... eventually (i'm not a senior yet). did your school send predicted scores for the courses you are taking this year or just the first marking period grades?

people are starting to wake up now... consider this was practically empty an hour ago.

it's 1:25 a.m. here

um i took 4 last year (junior) and another 4 this year. but i'm taking 5 tests this year since i'm taking both physics c tests, that's out of 10 offered at our school, since i didn't take any sophomore year.

scores: AP Eng Lang (5), AP Bio (5), AP US (4), AP Calc AB (3, but b/c of the ppl in the class we didn't actually finish covering everything), AP Eng Lit (5 pred), AP Gov (4 pred), AP Physics C Mech. (4/5 pred), AP Physics Elect. & Magnetism (4/5 pred),
AP Calc BC (3/4 pred)

I'll have 10 classes and 11 tests done by the end of the year.

canadia what did i tell you about these boards(ocd sophmores shouldnt be here)! ;)

I'll have 9, but 5 of them are this year.
U.S. History (5), French Lang. (4), Human Geo (4), Eng Lit (pred 5), U.S. Gov (pred 4/5).. still don't know whether or not to take calculus and physics

Have taken: AP World, AP US, AP Physics B, AP Physics C, AP Eng. Language, AP Calc BC
Am taking: AP Spanish, AP Politics and Government, AP Lit, AP Macro/Micro

i can't help it starbot! i'm trying to plan out my ap sciences next year, i'm in a junior class this year in physics so technically i could be a junior...

what!
people are taking calc as freshman?

btw i took 4 last year, psych, lit, bc, history
and am taking 4 this yr, music thry, french, lang, bio
grand total of 8, plus i think i want to self-study micro/macro

i got 5's on psych n lit, bc and history weren't 5s..
i don't think i'm taking the thry test, i predict a 3 on the french, 5 on the lang hopefully, and hopefully 5 on bio as well

I did an accelerated math program in middle school through the U of MN; we did Algebra 1 and 2 in 7th grade and Geometry and Pre-calc in 8th grade; which means I got to take AP Calc at school (I dropped the program cause I'm sane) with hot hot hot seniors. Best class EVER.

I've completed 3 AP's - U.S. History (5), Macro Economics (4) Mirco Economics (4)

I'm currently taking English, BC Calculus, Environmental Science and Government
