<p>Now that polytech has merged with nyu, does that mean if we get accepted at polytech, that means we got accepted to nyu?</p>
<p>The merger won’t actually be finalized until next month after final approval by the State of New York, but that’s really pro-forma. Then there should be a year or so of academic and administrative juggling which will resolve your question. Eventually, Poly will become “Polytechnic Institute of NYU” (or something like that), and their degree will be an NYU degree, just like Stern or any other NYU college.</p>
<p>I know no one really knows for sure, but if I apply next year, would it be through Polytechnic or NYU? Does anyone think they will attempt to integrate the two campuses somehow? I don’t really feel like going to a campus that is 85% male..</p>
