Did anyone receive any info on the April weekend visit for admitted students?

Not yet. Did you? What was it?

I got in ED, and as far as I know, nobody admitted ED has gotten any info yet either.

would there be a chance of pomona paying for your airfare to the weekend? Or would that just not be possible at all?

We requested it last year and it was not possible. Don’t know however if financial aid is a factor.

What are the dates?

I didn’t see any dates, and I got my acceptance package today.

Just kidding! 4/11 or 4/18.

However…it’s kind of expensive to go there ):

i got my packet today, and the dates are april 11 or april 18
seems like they have 2 options!
can’t wait!

Ugh, I’d love to go, but I live on the east coast and I’m stage manager for the upcoming musical, so that’ll take all my weekends…maybe I’ll be able to make it.

fyi, its not even a weekend, its just two mondays where you go basically like from the morning to like 3 or 4 to learn about pomona, which is nice (an entire weekend is overrated anyways)

nyc640 - ED admits are not specifically invited to attend, because they know you’ve already made your decision. But last year my D heard that she would be welcome there. She chose not to go - had too much going on senior year spring.

I got the invite for a Weekend at Pomona, it says it’s for URMs and first-generation students.
