Pomona/Caltech 3-2 Engineering Program Question

I realize this program is primarily meant for those who wish to have the "LAC" experience as well as enter engineering school but my interest lie in the field of applied physics. I was wondering how strict the program requirements were as far as sticking to an "engineering" degree.

Also if there is anyone who has completed this program or knows someone who has please feel free to share personal thoughts/opinions about the overall program (feel free to PM if you feel that is more appropriate)

im posting this under both the Pomona and Caltech forums.

many thanks

Have you looked at Harvey Mudd?

A lot of the physics majors go into Pomona planning on doing this, but by the time year three rolls around, they don’t want to leave, and end up staying at Pomona. You can always take classes at Mudd/ or even do summer research at Caltech. That’s not to say that the program isn’t a very good option for those who choose it, but are you really going to want to start anew at another school right after your junior year?
