sorry!! I mean it wasn’t just regular old mail – it was fedexed (prob coz I’m an international student in Asia) and I had to sign in order to get the mail

omgomg I’m an international student. UK, though.

Haha! POmani, the moment I saw the word ‘Fedex’ in Tig’s message I’ve practically been staring out of every window in the house on the lookout.

I’ll give it a day or so, tigercubjy’s package probably went west, not east like ours :/

Yeah, I have no idea what post is going to be like… Royal Mail seems to be able to surprise me both ways.

Also, congratulations Tig! You must feel amazing right now!

@Tig - was your parcel first class/economy or what?

My son got his rejection letter today. We are in Arizona. He was initially deferred from Pomona ED 1. He did get into Pitzer. Pitzer’s letter said that they only accepted 14% of applicants this year, so they are getting extremely selective as well. I can’t imagine what Pomona’s acceptance rate is this year. Now he has some decisions to make!

joeconmom, what kind of mail did the letter come in?

Got my letter today in New England. Rejected Pomona was one of my top choices but oh well. Congrats to everyone who got in!

Got my rejection letter today in upstate NY. =( Oh well, congrats to everybody who was accepted and good luck to everybody who’s waitlisted!

Starting to doubt my ability to get into any of my remaining colleges…

Rejected in Minnesota. A little bummed, because it was one of my top choices, but I have other good options!

Congrats to those who got in!

So I assume acceptances thick rejections thin?

I got wait listed. Does anyone know realistically what my chances are of getting in?

kiandeco - google Common Data Set for the last few years - Section C2 shows Waitlist numbers. [Common Data Set 2009-2010 - Pomona College](http://www.pomona.edu/administration/institutional-research/common-data-set/2009-2010.aspx)

Avg 8.4% chance 2011-2012, which is quite a bit higher than other schools I have seen.
3.8% for 2012-2013.

2010-2011 and 2009-2010 were not reported.

Thank you!

Got my rejection today in Oregon. I’m pretty bummed but it’s whatever. Good luck to the rest~

Rejected in Los Angeles today. Not surprised. Congrats to everyone who got in, you deserve it! :)

I got rejected. Oh well. (in Oregon)

Has anybody been accepted from the States today? I haven’t seen any posts.

And I guess us internationals should be expecting an email soon.
