Pomona/CMC Admission Chance? And Questions.

<p>I'm a bit doubtful about getting in to either of these school, but would like to see what you guys think.</p>

<p>GPA: 3.8 (5.45 unweighted)
Rank: top 4% 23/560
SAT: 690m/700v/720w
SAT II: US Hist 760 (Lit: Pending)
Band 4 years - Section leader and Drum Major (which is sort of the head leadership position of band)
Full Orchestra 4 years (ranked 6th in the state)
Other academic and community service clubs, but nothing exceptionally significant.</p>

<p>I know my stats are pretty low, but I'm pretty sure that SAT scores will improve 50ish pts per subject.</p>

<p>Those are in range scores. You should have a decent shot. You do know they have low admit rates, especially Pomona. Just make a good list with reach, match and safety schools. and make a good application package.</p>
