I got in! really didnt think I would but anything is possible! 33 superscore, 4.1 gpa, really strong extracurriculars and i feel my essays were particularly strong. Congrats to anyone that got in!

denied

34 ACT, top 2% (class of 550), many ECs, 11 APs; my first rejection so cheers to that

Son rejected

Waitlisted
36 ACT, 1580 SAT
14 APs, 5s on almost all exams
4.0 uw, 4.9 weighted gpa
800s on math2 and chemistry sat subject tests
1/450 in class
Many extracurricular including multi-year captain of multiple varsity sports, 4-year concertmaster of orchestra, etc

I got waitlisted and have accepted my place on the waitlist. Itā€™s actually better than I hoped because I assumed I would be rejected

Accepted!! Iā€™m really happy about it omg!! 1500 SAT/ 3.9 GPA. / 6 APs.
I think what made a difference were my essays though. I worked really hard on them, and I think that showed! Congrats to those who got in :)!

D rejected. 34ACT (one sitting), 3.9+uw, IB diploma. Sad news.

Waitlisted! Actually pretty happy about this, I definitely thought I was going to be rejected here, and since their waitlist is a real waitlist, I feel like I have a chance to get in!
34 ACT
GPA 3.8 but I had reasons and got As in my AP classes senior year so I think I proved my real ability.

Rejected ? good luck to all still waiting for college decisions!

rejected :frowning:

1580 SAT
800 Math 2 SAT subject test
780 Literature SAT subject test
5.00 weighted GPA

Pretty good ECs, LORs, and essays

Anyone know what the admit percentile was this year?

rejected lol 33 act, 4.22 gps

accepted after being deferred EDII! i think the supplementary materials i sent after being deferred made a huge difference. 1580 SAT, 4.0 UW GPA, varied ECs and community involvement with leadership roles.

Wait listed!! 32 act, 3.97 uw gpa, 5.0 weighted gpa, ranked 4/431 which is top 1% of my class, taken a total of 9 APā€™s during high school, had some very relevant ecā€™s especially to my essay topics. Iā€™m not too upset about being wait listed because Iā€™ve heard their wait list is pretty promising. Also, I was expecting a rejection because my act score is lower than their average. Iā€™m from Phoenix, AZ, and we visited during the summer- not sure if that helped or not.

Waitlisted

Accepted!
1380 SAT, 4.0 UW & 4.67 W.
Other than strong ECā€™s, I believe it was all the sleepless nights spent on essays that got me in.

Accepted by some miracle!
1310 SAT, 4.05 W and 3.75 UW

I definitely owe my acceptance to my essays and recommendations. Probably along with my extracurriculars (volleyball, orchestra, a few leadership positions but nothing too huge). Apparently anything can happen lol

Reflection

Strengths: Essays, Summer program, Tests (minus physics subject test)
Weaknesses: Grades and class rank! I had Bs in some relevant classes
Why you think you were accepted/deferred/rejected: solid applicant but not special; no mid-year report

General Comments :

Iā€™m pretty chill with it, and probably wonā€™t pursue. Still no rejections, and no hard decisions. Unless I get into Brown in a couple of weeks, it looks like Iā€™m Yale 2023!
